Dear Mr. and Mrs. Spencer and family, in the name of our precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

I hope the Lord has given your family peace and joy. We heard about Hurricane Katrina and were worried about you. We called Hiep to ask if your family was safe from Katrina.
Will you please give my regards to your pastors and the church? We thank God with all our hearts for knowing both of you and your church are praying and encouraging us to serve the Lord in my country.

In August the 8th month, God blessed us with a total of 12 people coming to know the Lord. We had 4 nights of evangelism meetings. The brothers and sisters in Binh Chau rented a van for transportation to drive some of their friends and family to my church so we could share the Gospel with them. This month in Binh Chau we had a woman named Phung accept the Lord. Her husband, Mr. Kim, is Korean. We just baptized 9 people on Sunday, September 11th.

We ask that you and your church pray for the people here as many of their hearts are hard. In the field of Binh Chau, we need a harvester to send out, but we have not found one yet. We have few people who are able to teach the people to make them strong and grow in the Lord. On behalf of the Church, I would like to invite you and your wife to come back to work with our church and the church in Binh Chau.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Spencer and your church, we really hope to have a room in our church in Ba To to welcome guests from far away places and make it convenient to serve the Lord here. So when we invite guests to come to my church in Ba To, they will have a place for teaching and resting. You and your husband came to visit us, but we can not ask you to stay because we have no room. We would like to build a room at the door to our house 4 meters long and 3 meters wide and 4.5 meters high; a total of 12 square meters. The cost would be 5,000,000 Vietnamese or over 300 US dollars. We ask you and your church to pray for us.

I will stop now. I hope to see you soon and will share more with you then. I pray for peace and new strength of the Lord all Mighty in your calling. I pray for your family and all the brothers and sisters in the Church.

Respectfully and sincerely,
PS. Q.
